Stumpy's Backyard BBQ – Authentic Southern BBQ & Comfort Food in Marion, AR

Stopped at Stumpy’s on our way from Wisconsin to New Orleans based on good reviews. The place was decent overall. The sandwiches were really good—not amazing, but definitely satisfying. Service was okay, nothing exceptional. It has a typical backyard BBQ vibe and they include a side with your meal. A bit pricey for what you get, but still a solid stop if you’re in the area

My partner and I were in the area so I googled BBQ near us and this place was one of the top ones. Reviews spoke highly so say less lol we absolutely loved it! Waitress was kind and friendly and food was brought out quick. As you can see on photos it’s a good amount of food! Pulled pork sandwich so tender and the bun super good. Nachos A++++ would’ve loved to have tried their ribs but too full lol The BBQ sauce variety was delicious. Don’t second guess it just go you will love it too!

Absolutely fire Loaded Mac and Cheese served amazingly fast by a beautiful and light-footed waitress in a "roadside bar" type kitchen setting. The pulled pork was perfect and the Mac and Cheese paired with the sweet sauce like they were meant to be.

Great unique little Barbeque dive with nice bar and TV’s and a cool wrestling ring. Food was delicious. They were out of brisket, which was a bummer but most great barbecue spots run out of stuff sometimes. Pork and chicken were both tasty and juicy. Good beans and slaw too.

Stopped in while passing through and found this place on Google maps. Really glad we did. Good was excellent. Extremely clean. Everything was new and fresh even though its a long time restaurant. Clearly they care about cleanliness and standards. Staff was genuinely friendly and kind to everyone. Food is affordable and delicious. We had smoked bologna sandwiches and crinkle fries. Great smoky flavor. 2 choices on our table of BBQ sauces. Fries were perfect. Server and owner checked in on us several times. Even shared history of the BBQ master who is the owner. Will stop again for dine in or take out. Thank you for a great lunch.

Smelled.like smoked bbq but still tasted like ordinary run of the mill flavor. Not bad just not different then what any other place will serve. Service was great and the deocr was excellent. Lived how it had a regular sitting area and the bar area completely seperate. Almost like 2 places under 1 roof. Got bbq pork and brisket and I couldn't tell difference in either. Sweet sauce was just thick sugar style, mild was just thin buffalo sauce and the spicy was a mix of.those 2. Spicy sauce literally tasted like a spoonful of sweet and mild combined. Prepared well. Fairways pricing for what you get.

We ordered the brisket, chopped pork, baked beans, potatoes and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the potatoes. Service was quick and she was friendly.
